At Coptic Street, a few yards from the British Museum, in the middle of Bloomsbury, we inserted this award-winning modern development of 23 maisonettes and flats for a housing association client.

The design strategy involved working with the grain of the Conservation Area in terms of scale and streetscape, while composing a building vocabulary that is unassertively yet clearly of its own time.
